Unveiling success: Krol Corlett group sponsors prestigious parliamentary reception

At the heart of Westminster’s political hub, Krol Corlett Group proudly took centre stage as sponsors for the Parliamentary Reception at the House of Commons in January. In an exclusive partnership with city leaders from Manchester City Council and Leeds City Council, the event brought together over 150 Northern Powerhouse business leaders, making it a high-calibre day filled with insights and collaboration.

The importance of public and private sector collaboration as drivers for economic growth was a central theme, echoed through thought-provoking speeches by notable figures including Bev Craig, Jonathan Reynolds MP, Hilary Benn, Lucy Powell MP (Manchester Central), James Pitt and council Chief Executives, Joanne Roney and Tom Riordan CBE.

We would like to offer our thanks to Frank McKenna, Chris McKenna and Beth McKenna of Downtown in Business, whose efforts seamlessly brought together this influential gathering, showcasing their commitment to fostering Northern growth.

The event was not just about business; it was a reunion of minds and connections. It was fantastic to catch up with industry stalwarts such as Nicola Rudman of The Fairhursts Design Group, Angela Mansell FCIOB, Dave Seed, Carolyn Hughes (special thanks for the group picture!), Shane Manogue, Jayne Moore, Lisa Morton and many others who contribute to the vibrant Northern business landscape.

Krol Corlett remains at the forefront of impactful initiatives in the construction industry. Our commitment to making a difference goes beyond building structures; it extends to actively shaping the landscape of the Northern business corridor.

In the spirit of making a difference, we look forward to continued collaborations, networking and playing a pivotal role in the growth of not just Manchester and Leeds but the entire Northern Powerhouse.

Stay tuned for more updates on our journey of impact and growth.
